Channels app not from home port blocked

Trying to use Channels not at home on a Frontier network that is blocking not well known ports. I have set up the router where the Channels DVR server is at to forward port 8089 and it works fine everywhere Ive tried except on Frontier. I am planning to use another port that Frontier does not block, but is there a way to run Channels away from home on another port? Possibly specifying the IP address with a port number (eg, x.x.x.x:port)?

You can pick another port, configure the dvr remote access to manual mode, set your router to forward that external port to internal port 8089, then email support with the port you have chosen (after portchecker.co confirms it showing as open).

Got an outgoing port checker that you trust?
