Channels app startup issues

Hey all,
I might have missed the thread but has anyone else been having issues with the Channels app it seems ever since the 5.0 update? I'm running Channels on a Mac Mini M1 using the app on Apple TV 4K gen 2. When I launch the channels app I've been getting a variety of issues, some times the app will tell me it can't connect to the server, other times my guide is blank or I get a blank purple screen, and then I get times where the PIP window doesn't work at all. I'm able to remedy all this issues when they happen by closing the app and relaunching it. I just find this curious cause I wasn't having any of these issues a month or 2 ago. Everything just seems really janky.
