Channels Apple TV app and Telly IPTV proxy

Hi there,

Is it still possible to use Telly as a source in the Channels Apple TV app (without a Channels DVR subscription)?

I was able to use Telly directly with the Apple TV Channels app a few years ago using the information in the below thread. However, this set up does not seem to work directly with the Channels Apple TV app anymore.

Note - I understand Channels DVR now has the ability to import M3U streams. However, I was hoping to be able to watch FTA IPTV streams via the Channels Apple TV app without a Channels DVR subscription.

Channels DVR + Xteve / Telly

Xteve is a 'proxy' that claims to make IPTV streams look like an HDHomeRun tuner on the network. I've yet to get it working, since the documentation is non-existent and between one provider for IPTV and another for XMLTV, there are a few moving parts that need to line up. I was wondering if anyone else here had tried using it with Channels DVR, and if they were successful? Paul

I don’t believe so, the non-DVR version of the app is for hdhomerun tuners.
