Channels disappearing from Guide

I have a single IPTV source that has been rock solid for quite some time. Recently, I've noticed a few channels (including our local stations) have dissapeared from my channels list. Other stations in the Channels app are working perfectly fine.

I have confirmed that my IPTV source still has the channels available and can stream directly from them.

I use xteve and also confirmed that my m3u list contains the channels that is missing from the Channels app (example below). I have refreshed everything on the xteve side and also manually updated channels/guide data (redownloaded entire guide and also fetch guide updates).

Does anyone have advice for how I can get Channels to pull in all of the channels listed in my m3u?

You probably just cut and pasted the wrong lines but the url for the stream goes at the bottom not at the top above #extinf.

My guess is when channels from a m3u randomly start disappearing, 95% of the time you have multiple sources trying to be on the same channel number. Verify there are no overlaps and delete and recreate guide data in the settings.

If that doesn’t work you can try to build a custom source using the following code. Copy and paste and only change the url to the nbc channel. I doubt you have anything using channel 4.9 so there should be no overlap with other sources. Choose prefer channel number in the m3u when setting it up and nothing in the guide data block. After you get a successful test go back in and choose the channel number you prefer.

Thanks for looking into this! Moreso than troubleshooting a single channel, there are multiples that are not showing up.

For context, my Channels found 750 channels from my xteve m3u:

In xteve, there were 1174 channels. I deleted a few groups from my filter in xteve to reduce the number of channels in my xml list. This dropped the xml by over 200 channels (1174 --> 952).

When I go back into Channels and redownload the XMLTV, it STILL only shows 750 channels. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here, but I hope it's something stupid and simple.

Ooook... it was something simple and stupid!

I started searching to see if Channels had an upper limit of channels per m3u - and it DOES! Probably common knowledge for most folks. You can have a max of 750 channels per m3u list. When I removed some additional channels in xteve and reloaded the xml in channels, the # of channels matched and then my missing 'test' channel appeared.
