You need to enable the remote access feature on the DVR web UI first and ensure your router is setup for port forwarding
Enable is set to ON. Port forwading is set to auto and says listengin on 73.23.... but when i click on the outside link it did not work. i tried to manually configure but i did not uderstand how on my wise rputer
Does portchecker.co show 8089 as open?
Best to set your DVR to "Port Forwarding: Manual" then login to your router to add the TCP 8089 port forward. You can google your router model number along with port forward and find instructions.
