Channels DVR and Channel-list priority

I have a question regarding Channels DVR and the channel-list priority.

Apparently after my tuners decided to re-scan for channels (not sure if this is scheduled by design or just a fluke), I ended up having 2 CBS channels (3.1 and 6.1) and a few other duplicates listed. I went in to disable channels on the tuners through Settings that were duplicates or no longer wanted, but I noticed my DVR schedule did not update to reflect the channel change; all scheduled recordings were on channels that would otherwise not work (in this case, 6.1).

I noticed going in through the web portal to manage Channels that I could manually modify my scheduled recordings to the correct channel. I also noticed that it had the channel scheduled for 2 channels (one of which was disabled now, and the other which should have been considered primary). In addition, I saw that passes could be manually modified to include Channel == X.X in the rule set.

The basic question for me is, is there a way to (either currently or upcoming release) set a channel “priority” for recordings? For example, with a Cable DVR, you can normally specify you want NEW recordings only on X channel from within the main interface when you set up a series recording. I believe setting “favorites” has been suggested in the past, but I couldn’t find the thread on that.

The schedule will update tomorrow morning, when the guide data is re-downloaded. At that point, you should see the hidden channels disappear from upcoming recording jobs.

You can also click the circular refresh icon next to your guide data entry (under the HDHR) on the DVR web UI.

Favorited channels are automatically prioritized, so you can do that as well.

I was able to get everything sorted out manually. Thanks!
