Channels DVR app not loading on Chromebook after update

I have Channels DVR installed on my Chromebook which was downloaded via the Play Store, it has worked flawlessly until today, I updated both the Channels DVR app to (3.1.2.beta-v203182154) and updated my Chromebook (Version 89.0.4389.95 (Official Build) (64-bit) (both updated today) and now the app wont load at all, when i try to open the app it immediately closes and I get the "Channels DVR keeps stopping" popup. Is this a known issue? I have tried uninstalling and re-installing, force closing the app, nothing has worked.

There was a bug in the earlier beta today. If you update to 3.1.2.beta-v203182224 it's fixed.

Got it, thanks! For some reason the Play Store was still downloading the older beta, but it is now pulling the newer version, and all is working again!

I'm thinking of having a dedicated machine for channels DVR server, so that my family desktop is less taxed/tasked. Can a Chromebook 11e do the job, or is a Win10 PC laptop more suitable?
