Channels DVR app unable to connect remotely

All of a sudden this morning across multiple devices, the Channels DVR app is unable to connect remotely to my server.

When choosing “connect away from home” it goes to site but gives the error page that my server can’t be found.

However, if I go to my.channelsdvr.net I can connect just fine through the web interface. Although on one such occasion I did get a browser error about a certificate and privacy/trust issue.

Could those two issues be related to why the iOS/TVOS apps aren’t able to connect up?

EDIT: I remotely connected through browser, went to support tab, and have green check on all but Remote Access. There is a message that reads “ Remote Access - Connected to ******.channelsdvr.net but SSL certificate is invalid.”

anyone have any clues? Which SSL Certificate?! The Channels website, the NAS?!?!?!

I swear to God I hate certificate rrors when I’m using the internet bc they’re practically impossible to fix without some deep routed knowledge.

Toggle remote access and wait five minutes, then it should work. I reset the SSL certificate on your account.
