Channels DVR connection issue

I wonder if you can help me? I think this is a networking problem but may be a permissions problem.

I’ve been using Channels for years, HDHomerun, Win10 Server and Apple TV client. I just replaced my router to get improved WiFi coverage with a TP-link Deco X68 Mesh router. The installation went reasonably smoothly and everything works with the exception of my channels clients.

HDHomerun 192.168.68.59

Win 10 Server 192.168.68.57

Apple TV 192.168.68.60

iPhone 192.168.68.53

Since changing my router I can use the HDHomerun viewer on both the Apple TV and iPhones, the Channels server continues to record scheduled shows however neither the Apple TV or the iPhone can even connect to the Channels Server on the Windows 10 Server.

I would be grateful for any help fixing this problem.

Did you renumber your network? 192.168.68.0/24 is an unusual subnet. If you renumbered, check the firewall on your windows server. It needs to allow inbound channels traffic to TCP/8089

Thanks so much Morris! I made the change to firewall and all clients can now connect to the server, play from the library and watch live TV however all recordings fail. I took on board your comment about the default subnet so I've changed that to 192.168.0.0

still all recordings fail. I've updated SW on the HDhomerun, checked Channels is up to date, rebooted everything and still everything works but recording consistently fails. Here is a extract from the log files. I would be grateful for any assistance!

Can you web into your HDHomeRun from your server? Even if you can, try a firewall rule on the server opening all outbound to the HDHomeRun.

Yes I could run HDhomerun on the channels server, I could could watch live TV on the clients and on the server however but I could not record
I tried various security settings including disabling the the firewall all with no success.
In the end I deleted and re-installed the Channels Server and everything seems to be working. If that changes I will re-post.
