Channels DVR in Synology DiskStation main menu?

This is a minor issue, but one that I'd like to solve.

I've been unable to create a shortcut in my DiskStation main menu or on the desktop pointing to Channels DVR. The only way I can access the DVR is by manually drilling down from Package Center > Installed > Channels DVR > Open.

The Plex DVR, on the other hand, showed up in the main menu after it was installed and I was able to create a desktop shortcut.

I suspect this may have something to do with the Channels DVR package not coming from a recognized publisher. Any ideas? Thanks.

Why not just create a shortcut on your web browser? The plex shortcut just opens up your Plex Web GUI.

Because that would have been too simple! :wink: I just created a Chrome shortcut pointing to my Synology IP address and the Channels DVR port. Perfect. Thanks!
