Channels DVR Recording Wrong Shows for America's Got Talent - Need Help

Hello Channels DVR community,

I'm experiencing an issue with my Channels DVR setup and need some assistance. Here's the situation:

Problem: My Channels DVR is recording incorrect programs (like news) instead of the scheduled America's Got Talent episodes for the passes I've created.

Setup:

Using HD HomeRun 4K QUATRO
Connected to an over-the-air antenna
Channels DVR running in a Docker container

What I've tried:

Reinstalled the Channels DVR Docker container
Removed all app root directories before reinstalling
Reset the HD HomeRun channels
Reconnected everything

Despite these efforts, the system is still recording the wrong shows for America's Got Talent on NBC.

Additional information:

America's Got Talent is currently my only go-to show.
I have not tried recording any other shows recently, so I'm unsure if this issue affects other programs.

Have u confirmed that show is actually airing at the times the DVR is set to record? And that it is recording the correct channel?

I see it shows it recorded the ATSC 3.0 channel.
Is there a programing difference between your local networks ATSC1.0 and 3.0 channel perhaps?

EDIT: Wait, isn't NBC ATSC3.0 DRM in all markets?

i confused. More info is needed.

What does your logs state when it is recording?

No, it varies on station owner. Most of the Sinclair and Nexstar owned ones aren't encrypted, WDIV Detroit (Graham) isn't encrypted either.

Was there some kind of live broadcast that went long, eg. a sporting event or political event, that caused this station to delay everything? The ChannelsDVR will not adjust recording times in these kinds of situations (but I sure wish it would).

Before your logs get too old, you should capture/look at your Channels DVR log and your HDHR tuner log.

This will tell you what Channels DVR recorded and what your HDHR tuner tuned to when Channels DVR was recording. The HDHR System log uses UTC time and your Channels DVR log uses your local time.

This will prove/dis-prove that Channels DVR recorded the channel you asked it to record.

If the recording doesn't match the guide data, then the network station you recorded either has bad guide data, the episode started late because of a late running sports event, or the episode was pre-empted by an important event.

Was busy! Will look in to logs and send it here later today!

Thanks for the response guys!

If you need to look back further than the default 1500 lines of Channels DVR log data, look here

Here are the channels DVR log!

Here is the HD Homerun Quatro 4K log

Please help me to fix the issue!

Is the time zone and clock set correctly on the PC or server running the ChannelsDVR engine? If those timestamps are UTC, the recordings occured at 16:55 (12:55pm ET) and 17:55 (1:55pm ET), if those timetamps are ET, then the recordings occured at 4:55pm ET and 5:55pm ET.

I recently migrated my Unraid server to a new machine and forgot to check the time zone setting. I'm in the Eastern Time zone (US & Canada). I'll reset the time zone and monitor how it affects my next DVR recording. Thanks for the help!

And you should have your DVR Server sync time with an NTP server on the Internet, like time.google.com, so its clock stays accurate.

Yes I corrected my time using ntp pool project

Hopefully, my next DVR sessions will work without any issues!
Thanks!
