Today was "Patch Tuesday" as you may know so I had a lot of Windows 10 updates on the older computer running Channels DVR Server requiring multiple restarts. I noticed my DVR was down after the updates were done. I did discover a problem where I failed to uninstall the Server from my newer computer that I started with so I have uninstalled that one. I then "reinstalled" (it seemed to recover everything immediately) the Server on the older computer and made sure the Server Service was running. I did a test restart. I am able to access the Server on the older computer from my newer computer and mobile devices without interruption after the restart. However, on the older computer I noticed that the browser always opens to the window below. Anything I can do to clean this up so it immediately goes back to my usual Server status screen? I'm reluctant to just click "Complete Setup" on this screen as I'm not understanding if it is going to force a refresh of the guide or something else which is going to delay recordings, but if clicking "Complete Setup" at this point will stop the screen from popping up after future restarts of course I'm happy to do so. Just seems odd that other devices that are using the server are already working fine. Thanks
You can click Complete Setup, or refresh the page. On newer prerelease it should not get stuck there.
hm I did upgrade to pre-release 2023.10.10.1922 without improvement. basically every restart it always goes to that page whether I refresh the page or "complete setup" to get past it, although it does not appear to impact functionality so more of an annoyance at this point?
