Is there any reason to still have a Check for Stable Release?
Since everyone gets auto-updated when a new stable version is released, why not just have one button that updates to the latest pre-release?
That would eliminate a lot of questions and confusion.
What questions and confusion? Afaik that's all with the old UI.
We want the user to know explicitly that they are updating to a pre-release build and choosing to do so. Stable releases happen slowly over time so it's still useful to be able to update to the latest stable build right away.
Makes perfect sense. Wasn't thinking of it that way
