Channels DVR Server was not found at xxx.xxx.x.xx

Just moved houses and got the internet up and running etc and when I went to the Channels app on my AppleTv I have to connect to the DVR using the IP address. I copied the IP that's in my channels settings but no go-I get this message "Channels DVR Server was not found at xxx.xxx.x.xx" Not sure where to go next. Not sure why it stopped working because of the move.

What is the IP of your DVR and the IP shown in the Apple TV network settings? Are they on the same subnet? Is it using guest wifi maybe?

same wifi. ATV is 192.168.4.24 DVR is 192.168.4.46 None of the addresses gets me in

Are you using the same wifi router as before or a new one? Maybe it doesn't allow peer to peer connections.

Can you load http://192.168.4.46:8089 from your phone in safari?

same router, same isp. doesn't load on phone

Does it load on the mac itself? Is there a firewall on the mac maybe

loads right up on the mac. firewall is off

Okay something is up with your network if your phone can't talk to your mac.

You can try restarting the router.

Is it a mesh wifi?

restarted the router and mesh one more time and it automatically connected. thanks.
