Channels DVR Service not starting up when Windows 10 restarts

I've had this problem before and I thought I fixed it. Basically, it's as I described in the subject. That is that Channels DVR Service does not start up again when Windows 10 restarts. It's not tied to the current version because it seems to do it with any version. I'm sure it has worked in the past.
Please let me know what information you need to determine the issue.

Details
Windows Version: 22H2 Build 19045.2728.
Channels Version: 2023.03.29.0007

Thanks,
Larry

Open the Windows Service manager:

Right-click on your Start button to open the WinX Menu. Select Run. This opens the Run box. Now type services.msc in it and hit Enter

Verify that the Channels service is set to automatic. If it is not change it to automatic.

If it's set to automatic try automatic delayed

Automatic delayed is normally not needed yet if some critical things are not starting before Channels, this could cause problems

I thought by setting up the Failure steps in the Recovery tab that would fix it. It seemed to work a couple of times but then failed. I'm now trying the Automatic (Delayed Start) setting as you suggested to see if that does the trick.

Thanks,
Larry

I hope that works for you. If you still get intermittent startup, you will need to look at both the channels error log and the system error log for a hint at what's erroring.

Good luck,

Morris
