Channels DVR - Viewer Metrics/TV Viewership

Hello - being that Channels DVR uses TVE - TV Everywhere, does watching a live stream or time-shifted DVR recording count towards viewership of tv programs? Meaning, does watching a program live or DVR-ing it count for TV viewership back through the TV Everywhere? I would assume yes, since Channels is simply capturing the live stream through TVE, but looking to clarify.

What viewership metrics are you referring to?

Hi - would be for TV Ratings. Watching a program/show count back for TV rating viewership. So if we watch a TV show on Channels DVR, they know we are watching. More people watching helps shows get renewed for future seasons.

If they track the TVE stream then yes it should work. But I don't really know how they do it.
