Channels DVR With Philo Buffering issues

I am using a shield tv with a external ssd and the weird thing is that when I goto a Philo channel, it will either do the following (sporadically):

  1. Buffer right at the beginning for up to 8 seconds
  2. Start fine for a few seconds and then buffer for a few more and then play fine
  3. No buffering and work perfectly fine

I replaced my old hard drive with a new ssd, did a factory reset on my shield tv, and started from scratch with Channels DVR. This did not help. This only seems to be doing it with Philo channels and not with the HDHR channels...My internet is Comcast with 800mb with everything hardwired.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated...

It does this on my Shield TV, Apple TV, and Fire TV but thank you for your input...

Also, I am finding out that it only does it on the actual shows and not commercials...

I would recommend submitting diagnostics if you haven’t already, we need more information. You can also check the DVR web ui logs at the time of the issue to see if any errors are logged there and share it here to see if the community can offer any suggestions.
