Channels Freezing and also cracking / not loading properly

Hi,

I have just downloaded this and using HD Home run and have relatively fast internet (min 47-70Mbps download).
The channels dont play well - crackles, freezes and so forth.
I would like to know if you guys can fix this, or if its possible to get a refund if its not working properly.

Hi,

Your internet speed does not matter. The video comes from the HDHR not the internet.

You need to specify what kind of device you’re using… is it an Apple TV?

And what kind of HDHR is it? Are you using an antenna? Do other apps stream from the HDHR fine or do they have the same problem?

Hi,
i am using an apple TV and other apps are streaming absolutely fine.
I am using an Antenna but in Australia all the antenna is HD broadcast in metro areas.

Specifically I mean other apps which talk to the HDHomeRun. Can you try installing the free app InstaTV and see if it works or not?

The issues you’re describing usually either occur because 1) the aerial signal is not strong, or 2) your home network/wifi speeds between the HDHR and Apple TV are fast enough.
