Running channels on RaspberryPi 4B 4Gb (yep, overkill on the RAM) with HDHomeRun Flex 4K - antenna. Installed on RaspberryPi OS (Debian). Using Kingston A400 SSD connected to the USB3 port of the RaspberryPi with a StarTech USB 3.1 SATA to USB adapter - USB312SAT3CB. Viewing primarily on AppleTv. Installed less than 1 week ago.
I’ve been a DVR user for many years. Dish DVR. Windows Media Center. TiVo. Tablo. HDHomeRun DVR App (lasted one day on that!)
Channels is AWESOME. Better than all of the above by a lot!
Commercial skip and the ability to modify.
Fast tuning of live TV. Nearly instant response when playing recorded shows, pausing, unpausing, etc. Beautiful interface.
