First, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!

Kudos to the developers for such an outstanding alpha!

I’ve been running Channels DVR for almost two months now and it is easily the best and most reliable DVR solution available. In fact, it’s so good that my wife, who was out of the country when I installed it, has completely embraced it and is now recommending it to her friends. That’s no small feat as she, her words, “loves DirecTV” and pretty much begged for its return when we moved to Tablo.

Great job guys! Looking forward to all the new features that 2017 will bring!

second that. this is the best HDHomerun 3rd party app ever. and now with DVR, it got better! kudos to the developers! keep up the good work!.

Totally agree. Similar to John, it’s been tough to sell my wife on getting rid of the DVR box, but ever since you guys implemented the Guide view, she’s been slowly warming up to the idea.

I’ve tried Sling TV, PS Vue, DirecTV Now–none of them come close to the polished Channels interface.

In fact, I’ve been wanting to cut the cord for a while, and although I’ve kept my cable subscription, I managed to finally return the Comcast DVR box over the holidays in anticipation of the public rollout of the Channels DVR. Can’t wait!
