Channels keep freezing

Channels DVR Server Troubleshooting

Hi I am a new user.

I am in Ireland and am using a Vbox Android TV gateway for Irish channels.

However the channels keep freezing and I have to go back out to the guide and select the channel again for it to resume playing.

Any ideas of what I could do to fix?

Trying to follow exactly how this is working. Are you using the same device to serve up the m3u streams as well as a viewing client?

I'm using a Nvidia shield as the viewing client.
The VBox is just providing the stream.

Ok so which device is the Channels DVR software running on? Also the Shield?

Dvr Software is running on a windows 10 pc

On that same Windows machine, do you have any issues streaming the channels locally through the DVR? For instance, can you open a stream in VLC to http://127.0.0.1:8089/devices/ANY/channels/9000/stream.mpg for RTÉ One, for example? This will help eliminate the DVR server as the problem, and narrow it to your client device or network.

Please click Support > Submit Diagnostics from the shield app after the freeze

It hasn't frozen in a few hours. I will follow the advice if I get another crash.
Maybe it was my signal?
