Hi all!
I have a monitoring system setup for Plex called PlexPy and there is one also called Tautulli I think. Both very similar if not the same, that monitors all of my Plex statistics such as what is being watched and from where and how long it has been watched and if it is playing or paused, the name of the device and IP address, etc. There is a some functionality of those that would not apply to Channels as there are not multiple ‘users’ per se but would be nice to see the devices that are being watched on.
For instance, is my wife watching while she is out and about or kids or anything (helpful if you need to take DVR down for any reason). Also could show some statistics as to what is being watched and how often so that I can better manage what I record and keep it for certain lengths of time. As of now, I have a 5TB drive saving all of my recordings and I am pretty liberal with saving cartoons for the kids but some adult shows I keep for a while because they sit waiting for my wife or someone else to watch for instance. It would be nice to know what has been watched on which device and how long on average it took them to watch it and whether it was completed on that device.
Is there anything like this 3rd party or something built in that is available that I am unaware of?
