I am using a couple of IPTV providers and importing these into channels. I used an app to manage the lists and guide data and so matching channels have the same identities. The channel numbers in the m3u are different.
When I imported the sources into Channels, I selected the option to ignore the channel numbers from the m3u (leaving them starting at 9000) and to prefer the channel logos from the guide. I checked the guide and the primary source goes up to 9291 and the secondary source starts at 9292. I understood that channels were supposed to match up and deduplicate in the guide with tuning priority following source priority. Why are the channels not matching?
