Is there anyway to get channels during working on the roku and is there anyway to get the premium channels working on the app

Nope, still no Roku client, nor are there plans to bring one to market.
May not be what you hoped to see, but it is reflective of the current status.
None of which I'm aware. It's a pretty safe bet that, if anything changed, they'd have announced it. There'd probably even be a separate Roku section.
Xfinity and other cable providers have transitioned to MPEG4 for their tv streams, which is lower bandwidth per hour of video than MPEG2. I know that Roku's being underpowered to stream MPEG2 is one of many reasons a Roku app is not available, but just wondering if making an app that only supports MPEG4, perhaps as an unsupported private channel would be worth considering?
I do have two Roku TVs and would love to be able to use Channels without adding an Apple TV or Fire TV device. Thanks
