Trying to find the best setup possible, currently trying recast and Tablo. Will the channels software see either of these dvr’ s or does it have to be a hdhomerun? Thanks Michael
Using a third-party program, Channels can use your Tablo turners.
So if I buy a hddvr, do I have to pay channels and the hddvr services?
No, you only need Channel's services. The HDHR costs are just the upfront for the equipment.
HDHRs are much easier of course; just plug and play.
