Channels + Xteve + Plex = Buffering / Could Hardware Transcoding fix it?

I am using Xteve to get Channels to Plex and am experiencing a bit of buffering, usually at the beginning of a stream but it does show up later on during the stream, and sometimes the stream just stops altogether. Could this be because I am relying on software transcoding? And if so, would I want to get a hardware transcoder for Channels or Plex?

Thanks in advance.

Why use transcoding at all? You should export your feeds as original quality and not utilize transcoding at all from Channels DVR Server.

Locally I use XTEVE with Channels DVR into Plex and there is no transcoding Direct Stream playing.

I am using the m3u url from channels into xteve. I just saw that there is an option for transcoding and it's set to software.

You should not be transcoding when watching locally.

Ok. That makes sense.

Could me using TVE be the issue? Just trying to figure out why I might have this buffering issue on all of my devices.

Can you Post the M3U you are using on XTEVE ? This is mine ...

Try Mine above? Just change the IP.

Saved. Do I need to recreate the tuner in Plex?

no

Thanks for the help, but I'm still getting a bit of buffering.

Try ?format=ts&codec=copy
