I'm on latest pre-release now (see my other post) and the logs seem to be a little more detailed for what I was trying to troubleshoot. So when I open a stream (m3u) the first time, it always says "Connection Lost. The connection to the tuner was lost.Press Play to try again" - if I try again, it works.
So I've been checking the logs for ChannelsDVR and my streaming m3u provider (locally hosted software). When this occurs, I get a very quick log entry showing that channelsdvr closed the connection:
2024/11/24 16:48:00.882648 [TNR] Opened connection to M3U-streammaster for ch9004 Channel1
2024/11/24 16:48:00.882775 [TNR] Closed connection to M3U-streammaster for ch9004 Channel1
2024/11/24 16:48:00.882901 [SNR] Buffer statistics for 192.168.1.155 (Master Bedroom TV) for ch9004 Channel1: buf=0% drop=0%
I'm assuming the last log entry above means the stream is done and these are the summary stats for it.
So then if I just press play again it works. Is there anyway to see behind these log entries and understand why its stopping immediately with a tuner failure? I can play that same stream with VLC without any delay or issue. What command is ChannelsDVR running here, anything I could test outside of the software using ffmpeg or vlc?
