Ever since I updated my shield with this terrible Android 11 update ChannelsDVR freezes and crashes my system. I have my DVR server running on a Synology NAS. Watching content from my DVR crashes the shield when I pause and rewind at random. The system crashes while watching liveTV as well. This is really annoying and I'm sick of it. I'm a paid subscriber and I've been quite pleased with the app and service but if this continues I'll have to cancel everything and move to YoutubeTV or some other trash internet cable service. Please help
This is a known issue and I am sure being worked on. My Shield wants to upgrade and I will tell it NO until this is resolved.
Do you have Kodi installed? Try installing the Channels Kodi add-on. You can use this until Nvidia fixes this crap. There is a Kodi addon section in here. It's been working fine for me even after the 9.0 mess. I do have both Nvidia patches installed. Might be a good workaround for now.
