Channelsdvr1.03 installation failed. failed to download setup.sh

getting error: channelsdvr1.03 installation failed. failed to download setup.sh

had this all working on QNAP TS-453 but just moved my drives to a new QNAP TVS-872XT and channels was not there so I'm reinstalling . I tried some suggestions from another post:

[~] # curl https://getchannels.com/dvr/setup.sh
curl: (60) SSL certificate problem: certificate has expired
More details here: http://curl.haxx.se/docs/sslcerts.html

curl performs SSL certificate verification by default, using a "bundle"
of Certificate Authority (CA) public keys (CA certs). If the default
bundle file isn't adequate, you can specify an alternate file
using the --cacert option.
If this HTTPS server uses a certificate signed by a CA represented in
the bundle, the certificate verification probably failed due to a
problem with the certificate (it might be expired, or the name might
not match the domain name in the URL).
If you'd like to turn off curl's verification of the certificate, use
the -k (or --insecure) option.

Discussed here:

I have the same version of openssl. If thats the problem, should I upgrade or downgrade the QNAP OS? I need to get channels dvr going again ASAP.

I updated QTS from 4.5.3.1652 to 4.5.4.1800 and that didn't fix the problem. I see there is a 5.0 beta but I'm reluctant to try that yet. I may have to move disks back to the old TS-453 but I'm afraid that channels won't install there either. Thoughts?

There's no fix right now. I will work on a new package in the next few days.

QNAP never upgraded the OpenSSL on their OS and it's causing problems since some certificates expired on 9/30

thank you for the help! I look forward to getting the new package.

Please let me know when the new qpkg is ready. Thanks!

Please try this one: https://channels-dvr.s3.amazonaws.com/qnap/ChannelsDVR_1.0.6.qpkg

It works! Thanks so much, your support is amazing.
