Chicago Sports Network guide data

I receive WWMT TV Channel 3 from Kalamazoo MI off the air through a HDHomerun Flex 4K on Channels DVR running on Windows 11. Several months ago WWMT put the Chicago Sports Network on subchannel 3.4 but the guide data has never updated. How can I get the guide data so I can know what's on this channel? Thank you in advance for all replies.

I know in the past with over the air you have to go to silicon dust forum. They have a guide sub forum where you can report your station. Once they update it, they send it to the guide data folks and hopefully the guide that channels uses will get updated at some point.

Will give the silicon dust forum a try - thank you.

The will most likely ask you to turn on Send diagnostic information and give your device id so they can look at the logs its reporting to set it up too.

I'm in the same market and have guide data for CHSN 3.4 but I had to to select the guide data for the channel manually.

How do you manually select the guide data? Thanks.

In the Channels web UI go to sources then manage next to your HDHR then manage lineup then select the + icon next to the channel and it should be in there. If it's not you can select the cog and choose search all lineups and from there you can manually type in the name of the channel.

I did the above - searched all lineups and found CHSN but nothing shows up in the guide. I've also posted this on the Silicondust forum - they've asked for more info so we'll see what they can do.

Go to Live TV & DVR Settings scroll all the way down to Guide Data Maintenance select the cog and then Delete and Recreate Database.

That worked and I now have CHSN guide data. Thank you for your patience.

You're actually still getting CHSN over the air? I thought that was shut down a few weeks back with their new xfinity deal.

I'm still getting it. I don't know the details but a lot of the live sporting events are blacked out, for instance today's White Sox/TB Rays game was not available. The news and talk shows are available. Maybe being out of the Chicago market has something to do with it.

It depends on where you are: Can I still watch CHSN via OTA?

Unfortunately, I’m in one of the markets that got shut down.

Not that I’m really a Chicago sports fan. But I grew up watching the Minnesota Twins, and MLB.tv blacks me out whenever they play Detroit, Cincinnati, or either Chicago team. I had good OTA reception for CHSN, so at least I could get around the White Sox blackouts. Sigh.
