When I try to play imported TV shows that have subtitles in Chinese, they come out as boxes and the video is jittery when the subtitles play. This only happens on Apply TV and not when I use the iPad app or even when I play the video in QuickTime. Other subtitles like English and Japanese work fine.
Are the admins reading these posts or should I submit a ticket? Thanks!
I've seen this too, and it would be great if it could be addressed. I'd suggest you submit diagnostics, and I wouldn't be surprised if they come back and request a short sample video.
