Using Mac M1 with Sony Android TV. Streaming Channels DVR through HDHR Quatro into Apple TV and Channels DVR app.
Recordings (both live and home) are choppy an freezing.
Can someone offer up possible solutions for this problem?
Is it choppy on live tv via the official HDHR app?
No, it only seems to be home videos. We have reinstalled and waiting to see if first scheduled live recording is ok. The home videos are unwatchable
Watching live tv is ok it just seems to be playback of home videos.
Does the recorded mpg file play correctly on the Mac with VLC?
Sorry, don't have VLC. Will download and try. These are mkv and mp4 videos

Yes, m4v file plays fine on VLC. Correct, the videos are not HDHR recordings. They are imported videos. I am using the Channels DVR app through Apple TV
