OTA channel transcoded H.264 output plays fine in Firefox/VLC/native apps but stutters in Chrome/Edge web player. This is a known class of issue with Chrome/Edge and certain H.264 sub-profile combinations.

You know I have this happen as well.
I am using Vivaldi and I just get this.
This is with an ah4c/LinkPi setup.
HDHomerun plays just fine.
Been a issue for long time. Been a few thread/comments about already.
Solution, use non-Chrome based web browser like FireFox or Safari.
The Web Admin UI is not meant to be a client and thus, the devs consider it extremely low priority to fix any issues related to playback there.(at least that is how it has been in response to previous posts about the issue, going back several months)
I assume this is just for live viewing?
I don't check very often, but before it seemed hit or miss on watching recordings depending on source. in the last few days, chrome recording playback from all sources seems to be working just fine for me.
on the live viewing it seems to be purely chrome timeout issue. for instance with firefox atsc1 channels start playing in a few seconds. (remux 2s, transcode 2s, then playback) on atsc3 it takes well over 15s for playback to start. (remux 10+s, transcode many unknown seconds before the transcode starts)
