Got it working. It was the firewall blocking the browser. Now to fix the pesky login. Any suggestions on how to login into your provider in docker?

4. I can launch the links in a browser.
5. I CANNOT launch the links in Channels. It appears that there is no connection occuring. There is no indication of an error or that data is being streamed.

I know you said you got it working by fixing a firewall issue, but just in case someone else is saying this I want to point this out:

NOTE: Some users are unable to use the built in stations. For those people, use the URL Method as shown next. If you are having issues with the URL Method, see Troubleshooting / Common Issues below.

More so, you can add any station you want that is not built in. Just add another record that looks like this:

#EXTINF:-1 channel-id="{YOUR STATION NAME}",{YOUR STATION NAME}
chrome://localhost:5589/stream?url={LINK}

Replace the {YOUR STATION NAME} and {LINK} fields to the ones you would like

Not being able to use the built-in stations does not seem uncommon among non-Windows/Mac machines. Too many variables as to why that might be considering the plethora of system configuration available.

• If you are running a Docker, open a new Chromium-based browser and go to http://localhost:5589/debug?url=https://nbc.com/live , replacing "localhost" with your IP address if they are different servers. This will give you a slow but partially interactive window to work in to do the login steps the same as Windows or Mac below.

NOTE: This can be used for logging in or interacting with any any service.

I cannot enter my username/password in the debug mode: The debug mode is slow and not very responsive. It may require launching it several times in a row in order to get it to work. That said, even if you do get it to work, there is a current bug where the following characters do not work: . / \ # % ? DEL BACKSPACE SPACE. If you need a more interactive method, you can do so with a VNC via the method discussed in this post. NOTE: I have not fully tested or documented this method yet, but will do so in the future and make it the preferred method for Docker install in Step 1.

I have been following this thread since June, there are several people who have posted that Hulu won't work. I tried a couple of urls for Hulu, and when CC4C tries to tune the channel, it lands on a menu page and not the live stream. Anyone have a url example, didn't seem to find one in this thread? I have Hulu working for the ADBTuner, but I only have one encoder, so before I purchase more hardware I was curious if it was working with CC4C. I had been using Fubo as the source for CC4C, which worked flawlessly. But, with the regular baseball season wrapping up, I've moved to Hulu.

I had Hulu working in ADBTuner. Like for Vice, I had the following url

Not sure if it still works as I moved to YTTV.. But the key word was WATCH in the URL

@krazijoe, yep those are the type of Hulu urls I have working in ADBTuner, changing "network" to "watch". But, neither url works in CC4C. I guess I'll look to add resources to my ADBTuner setup, unless someone can give a further hint on Hulu CC4C?

Thanks for the assist @babsonnexus, I am now 95% there. I was able to force fullscreen thanks to @doug8796 !!! My only remaining main issue is that I cannot get audio for the virtual channels generated by CC4C when in VLC or Sparkle TV on Android TV. I do get audio when using the Channels app though. Any thoughts @tmm1?

I have almost got puffer working, with sound. I don't think I will release the code for it though, as supposedly only 500 people can watch stanford's test stream puffer at once. If we all could make it work on channels, it could be a problem.

I will release the code for directvstream, and free channels from youtube like aljazeera and france24

Youtube is not needed as theres the kister method which works even better for that. I would like the code for dtv/stream tho. And maybe we can get YES Network unmuted too on their site

Does anyone know how to match guide data properly? I am lost on that. Do I need to match the station ID?

However, when using CC4C (separate Windows computer) through my Apple TV client and Channels v2023.09.27.0340, I can play and then exit 3 different channels in succession, but cannot open the 4th channel even though the prior are no longer playing. It is as if either the Chrome Capture computer or Channels DVR is not releasing the stream from Spectrum even though I do not see it playing in the Chrome tab. I have to wait a number of minutes to be able to play another channel.

Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? Chrome capture is working fantastic with Spectrum on my 5800H Beelink using Windows 10 and exe file, but I have to wait over 5 minutes to watch a 4th channel after viewing 3 prior channels within a 5 minute timeframe (can't channel surf). It would be perfect if not for this issue. @tmm1, any ideas? Is CC4C built to retain the prior http session for an extended time for some reason? Thanks

I started out adding station id to my M3U but found that was unnecessary. I found it easiest and most reliable to:

• Manage lineup
• Click + to the right to assign the proper guide data
• Within the search box, type the station 'id letters', for example for Starz Classic, type SZECLHD. Sometimes it helps to select from dropdown 'search all lineups'. I found these 'id letters' or whatever they are called on my Spectrum guide at watch.spectrum.net

NBC channels (I hear they glitch out or do weird ads on tve) better to use cable login
FOX (used to have tve, but a lot of people can't get any more)
