Any known reason why I am able to play HD on Chrome Laptop if I use Chrome browser for Channels but if I use the APP on Laptop it will only play SD video? When I try to play HD in app I can hear the sound real quick and then black screen and after a while I have to kill the app.
Try changing Settings > Playback > Advanced > Video Decoder
I tried that the other day selecting all 3 options and I also bumped different streaming from source etc.. Sometimes it plays but only audio with a static video and then after a while have to kill app as I can't stop (done) and sometimes just black screen for app. Just odd web works fine and this laptop I believe has 8 GB memory.
