Chromecast with Google TV - going rouge. Not abiding by server side settings

Chromecast with Google TV is experiencing some issues. It is not abiding by the "server side settings".

*It is showing channels that I have as disabled on the server side
*It will say "connection lost" when trying to play a channel which requires rebooting the Chromecast to resolve.
*It is not abiding by the "Inherit Source Priority" or "Server Side Sources"
*When I record, sometimes the live recording will not show as an option to play on the device until I reboot the device.

Channel status (favorite/disabled) is actually a client setting. While it can be set on the server for DVR purposes, a client maintains its own setting with respect to this.

Interesting, is this the case for all clients? My IOS devices do not show server set disabled channels.

At first launch, the channel list is read by the clients. If a client changes a channel's status after first launch, that client will keep the new status. For some sources, disabling it on the server removes it from the client (such as TVE), but not all sources behave this way.

Ok well in my case I did not change any channel status on any of my clients. So it should keep the server side channel status? Additionally I have disabled and enabled channels on the Server side and that feeds over to the IOS clients live. I have done this with FOX several times.

I have something similar.
I have Plex disabled on all Clients, one by one, has been for awhile.
When I look at the logs I see Plex is loading the Guide even tho all Clients have Plex disabled.
SO I don't know why it is loading Ples XML Guide.

Because the DVR has it as a source.

Is this happening specific to Chromecast with Google TV?

Firesricks, Onn 4k Android TV.
But racameron confirms what I suspected.
Loading Guide is server side no matter if Clients are using
