@spoddy What does /bin/sh point to?
Please update to the latest pre-release and then go to Settings -> Advanced and enable New TV Everywhere Embedded Chrome Launcher and see if that helps.

It points to Dash.
Bingo, changing to pre-release and ticking that box worked a charm.
Subjective, but feels faster from click to stream starting, too. Maybe just me. 
Channels is awesome, been using it for years, but 99% of my issues have been because of Chrome.

To be clear: chrome is not used every time every channel in tuned into. It only is used when the authentication needs to be re-checked. Please rescan a channel that has failed or add a new TVE source to make sure it’s using Chrome to test this.
