Chromedp-shell issues?

Hi,

Without any change (to my knowledge) of my Ubuntu DVR server, I suddenly can't get any TVE channels up, and I'm getting the following in the channels-dvr.log file:

I've rebooted, uninstalled and reinstalled chromium-bsu, golang-github-chromedp-sysutil-dev, to no effect.
The troubleshooting page says to click here to install chrome, but comes up with pretty much the above:
chrome failed to start:

I don't run snap, and have never installed docker (until today.. :-/ ), but that's not helping either.

If I replace(/fix?) the double square quotes in chromedp-shell (line 4) error, that goes away, but the rest does not. The line 89 error continues, and actually changes..
Here's a sample of the few (looks like to me a variable being passed when it shouldn't?)

I've also just tried to remove and re-add my TVE provider, and...

Also, this is running on a ProxMox Ubuntu VM, not a QNAP. That's just my external storage device.
Just in case anyone gets confused about that.

any chance that the script has line-terminators for windows (CR-LF) instead of UNIX (LF only)?

@spoddy What does /bin/sh point to?

Please update to the latest pre-release and then go to Settings -> Advanced and enable New TV Everywhere Embedded Chrome Launcher and see if that helps.

Updating to prerelease

On the DVR web UI, select Status > Version > Check For Update > Check for Pre-Release

Prerelease upgrades happen manually, only when you click the button above. The next time a stable release happens, your DVR will switch back to the newer stable build automatically.

Bingo, changing to pre-release and ticking that box worked a charm.
Subjective, but feels faster from click to stream starting, too. Maybe just me.

Channels is awesome, been using it for years, but 99% of my issues have been because of Chrome.
