Clearer separation between DVR and Library content

With the addition of local TV/Movie content to Channels DVR, the latest beta sever release has started to combine preexisting TV/Movie content that I have on my server and what I've recorded. I generally treat my DVR recordings as ephemeral (watch and delete), and view them as different and separate from content that I'm collecting and keeping elsewhere on my server. Some of this comes from my past history with Tivo and similar systems, but I would probably seek out a better recording to keep for posterity than what I could record anyway, if that was my goal.

In the Channels DVR beta web interface, DVR->Recordings has now become DVR->Manage, and brings up all pre-existing library content and DVR content by default, displaying it all in a big list. I have to manually change the filter to "Recordings" to focus on the recordings (my primary use for Channels DVR). The set-top box/device apps still have a dedicated "Recordings" section, but I'm a little worried that they may move in the same direction, making it more difficult to focus on just my ephemeral recorded content.

I had a similar struggle with Plex, which defaults to throwing all content in like categories (Movies, TV, etc.) together, regardless of where it came from, and saving and displaying recorded and pre-existing content separately was an ordeal. I hope Channels DVR retains the ability to store and display recorded content separately, and restores direct access to recorded content from the web UI.
