Client crashes when displaying ATSC 3 content with AC-4 audio

after the latest upgrade of the client app, atsc3 channels with ac-4 audio crashes immediately.
this happens when playing live or playing recorded shows.
this happens with both ios and tvos clients.
server version 2026.05.18.1824
client version 7.1.0

the only workaround is to force transcoding on the server side with the web interface to set client settings for Original Quality Delivery=Stream and Home Streaming=8mbps

this is not ideal since it is chewing up a lot of cpu/memory on the server to do transcoding with ffmpeg

Having the same issue. I was able to grab the stats from one of the ATSC 3 channels (122.1) that have the issue from a macbook pro running the 7.0.2 Ipad version where it did work. Once that client updated, it no longer worked and had the same crashing issues.
