Hi. What does this clock icon mean in recordings? I notice when I see this, recordings do not turn red in the guide to signify its recording. It might turn yellow. Sometimes when selecting “record” from the quick guide, it does not change to “recording” too.
I’m on latest beta DVR and latest ATV app.
It means it’s scheduled to record.

Ok. But I didn’t schedule it. I notice I get that icon just by recording a show I am currently watching.
I just did a test where I recorded a show and that icon appears and I recorded another show and it didn’t. I stopped the second show, deleted it, tried to record again and I get the clock icon and it doesn’t turn red.
Yes, well, the software considers that scheduled.

Ok thanks. Is there a reason it doesn’t turn red or indicate “recording” on the quick guide when scheduled?
Just for the times I select record it’s difficult to know it’s recording without those indicators.

Yes Tvheadend. But I’m also seeing this on the HDhomerun. Might just be a bug on my system.
Edit: I did a bit more playing around. The bug seems to persist until force quitting the app and then it seems to works ok at first. This happens with some channels but others always seem to have the bug.
Did more testing today and it seems to be a bug with the initial app. So if I record a show currently playing on Apple TV it will not go red on that app but will on iOS.
It will show red on Apple TV when force quitting the app and going back.
