I toggle CC often. I use it for dialogue but have to turn it off on live shows because their transcription is horrible and slow in real time. Here’s how to toggle it in 8 easy steps:
- Swipe down to expose menu
- Swipe up to set focus on buttons
- Swipe right for Options
- Swipe down to move to Options items
- Swipe left to Closed Captions options
- Swipe to toggle desired option (on to off or off to on)
- Click to select on or off
- Click Menu button to return to video
Can’t there be an easier way? On the default Apple video player The toggle is just a couple of moves.
