Commercial detection has never worked very well for CNN, HLN, and some Discovery channels. I believe that the problem is the static screen containing the channel logo that is displayed instead of the commercial content. I understand that there is a way to create and modify the commercial detection rules file, but I had no luck with it. Has anyone been able to make it work better?
