Color Washed Out

I've noticed that the color is quite washed out when I view anything through the Android TV app on my Sony TVs.

If I watch the same content (live TV for example) through the built in tuner or via Plex the colors are nice and vibrant, but through channels they are noticeably washed out.

I've confirmed that the TV picture settings are the same for both sources. I've even reset then to default, but it still remains washed out.

Has anyone else experienced this and is there any fix?

I think I may have figured it out. The Video Decoder was set to Software, I'd done this because I'd had issues playing some titles.

Setting it back to Hardware seems to bring all the color and vibrancy back to the picture.
