Com-Skip causing system freeze & not running

I have two problems with Com-Skip which I think are somehow related.

  1. When a show finishes recording, Com-Skip does not run for that show. However, when the server reboots, it remembers all the shows that needed to be Com-Skipped and does them all.

  2. Playback randomly freezes. It will stay frozen until I exit the playback, and then restart it. It always restarts fine from the point it left off. The only reason I associate this with Com-Skip is the error message in the log file. Here is the latest:

2021/02/06 20:24:29.696240 [DIAG] Could not find file: channels-comskip-controller.log: open channels-comskip-controller.log: The system cannot find the file specified.

The problem happens about once every day or two. I have sent in many logs, but not received any response.

I run a dedicated Windows 10 server, FireStick 4K, and latest Channels Beta.

What can I do?
