Ever since NBC added DRM. I have been recording from OBS and now with my new HDMI encoder. But I don’t know if it’s my old cheese grader Mac Pro but ever since doing HEVC recordings it takes way to long to do commercial detection. So I was wondering if I just need to drop it down to H.264? I had a recording from ESPN that took 45 mins for an 4 hour recording. I did a test from my HDMI encoder and it took 4 hours 13 mins for a 4 hour recording.
