I think running commercial detection may still be causing intermittent glitching on recordings for me when the system is multitasking, ie, recording multiple shows while I watch one, etc… wondered if commercial detection could be set to run in the early morning hours after all recording is complete and not using the dydtem to watch anything? Thanks for the consideration.

The option to schedule commercial detection would be great. I have a fairly powerful server (8 core Xeon) without hardware transcoding and commercial detection definitely causes severe hiccups especially when watching another recording in progress.
Advanced comskip options such as scheduling are on my wish list as well.
Was the scheduling option ever implement?
