Commercial skipping seems to be working, but no longer showing in the time slider. Used to see dark segments indication commercial detection, they are no longer there.
@dvrbob The next time this happens could you submit diagnostics from the client as soon as you see it?
Is this every recording in your library?
Or did you start a recording that was still in the process of recording.
Older recordings seem to have the markers, watching programs that are in progress, don't seem to show markers even though commercials are skipped. Letting a recording finish and commercial detection to finish shows the markers, so looks like a change to in process recordings, previously in process recordings would show markers as detection progressed. Thanks
Just uploaded from the client, watching The Five, commercial was skipped, but no markers on the timeline. Thanks
note. stopped and started playback, marked watched, and rewatched, markers still missing, forced close Channels and rewatched, and markers were there. All commercials were skipped as expected, even though markers were not displayed.
This is a known issue we’re looking into.
