Complete DVR setup msg in ATV

Hi there,

I setup the DVR on my QNAP (TS253) and I have adjusted settings on http://dvr-###.local.:8089/admin/settings. However, on ATV, I see message in the DVR tab " Welcome to Channels DVR! Visit this url in your browser to complete the setup" Any idea why this would happen?

I have restarted NAS and my 2 Apple TV's, but no luck so far.

What version of the Channels app? Does it show the name or an IP on the ATV in the url?

On one ATV I had 2.1.5 (yesterday) , I got a name url (dvr.local), on another ATV I had 2.1.6 (today), I got a (local) ip.

What is the ip of your QNAP and the ip of (either one of) your ATVs?

One of my ATV’s doesn’t show the DVR tab at all anymore in the app btw. The app sees my HDHomerun no problem. The other ATV still has behavior as described earlier.

Oh I see. Your DVR is not setup.

Click “Set DVR Lineup” under your hdhomerun.

There are all in the 192.168.1.x range.

That fixed my issue, thanks! I had to restart the ATV for DVR to show up in the app (just restarting the app did not work).
