Complete uninstall channels dvr ubuntu

how can I completely uninstall and reinstall channels on ubuntu 18?

Go to directory where you installed and run:

./channels-dvr/uninstall.sh
rm -rf channels-dvr

There's no uninstall.sh file in any of my channels-dvr directories or sub directories. (Ubuntu 18) thoughts on how to fully uninstall? Why does it not show up as an installed package so I can just apt-get purge it?

Because you didn't use apt/dpkg to install it.

By default, Channels installs itself in a channels-dvr directory in whichever directory you ran the installer script. The setup script also puts a uninstall.sh in that channels-dvr directory.

If you're curious, here's the link to the uninstall script: https://getchannels.com/dvr/uninstall-linux.sh

Thanks. Perhaps needless to say, I'm really not good with linux. I tried Channels on a VPS and while i had it working, the experience on my Nvidia Shield is superior.
